Local real estate agent named one of Australia’s best

Monday, 1 May 2017: A Nelson Bay agent has been named one of Australia’s leading real estate agents in a national list of top performing agents.

Mr Dane Queenan of PRDnationwide secured a position in the Real Estate Business (REB) Top 100 Agents 2017 ranking.

The list ranks real estate sales agents across Australia according to a range of 2016 calendar year metrics, including the number of sales, total sales volume and average sales price.

Now in its sixth year, the REB Top 100 Agents ranking is an initiative of leading industry resource Real Estate Business, which is produced by award-winning media business Momentum Media.

“The REB Top 100 Agents 2017 is the industry benchmark for success in real estate sales and an accolade all agents aspire to,” said Tim Neary, editor for REB.

“In this year’s ranking the calibre of entrants was exceptional, with the total sales volume across the Top 100 in excess of $14 billion worth of properties.”

The necessary data collected for the Top 100 Agents was verified by a senior member of the agency or network, or the office’s accountant.

Breaking the data down, the average age of the Top 100 agents in 2017 was found to be 41 (the same as it was in 2016) while their average days on market was 28 days (25 days). They also averaged 93 property sales for the year (90), with an average sales price of $1.5 million ($1.5 million).
